Field
Trips
The Closed-to-the public, operating mines visited during the course are not "tourist mines" that are open to everyone for a fee. Teachers get to experience once-in-a-lifetime opportunities to actually see coal, metals, and industrial minerals being mined from both underground and surface mines. There are no extra charges to teachers in the course for these exciting site visits.
