From A Student:
“It was an incredible experience that I will never forget! I can’t believe all the things we were able to see! It has truly opened my eyes, positively, to the mining industry. I am anxious to pass on what I learned to my future students!”

FIELD TRIPS

Field trips are an integral part of ALL ABOUT MINING! We’re planning more than a dozen exciting field trips to enhance your learning experience. Accompanied by skilled professionals, you’ll visit a broad spectrum of operating projects to gain hands-on knowledge you can use. You’ll see and learn even more about geology, surface mining, quarries, underground mining, milling, steel making, recycling and reclamation. Some trips require walking and climbing at high mountain elevations, sometimes it can be arduous, and some sites may be dusty, noisy or damp.
