CLASSROOM
INSTRUCTION
During four weeks in early June,
you’ll participate in up to five daily
classroom sessions Monday through
Friday, beginning at 7:30
AM.
Most
classes are conducted on the Colorado School of Mines
Campus in Golden.
THE FACULTY
Course
Faculty is drawn
from a carefully selected group of industry managers and professionals with demonstrated knowledge and
communications skills.
More than seventy-five
dedicated and talented people from industry,
government and academia will lead classroom
sessions in geology, geophysics, mining, metallurgy,
fabrication, applications, and environmental
stewardship. All are volunteers. All love mining, and
all serve without any remuneration beyond their
satisfaction in helping teachers to learn about the
mining industry.
